Saudi Arabia extends Eid holidays by a week

MAKKAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered the extension of Eid holidays for all public sector employees by one week.

Government offices, which were scheduled to reopen after Eid holidays on July 2, will now open on July 9.

Eid Al-Fitr holidays for the public sector started on the 20th of Ramadan (June 15).
