Hargeisa, 3 April 2017{Horndiplomat} The President of Somaliland H.E Ahmed Mohamed mohamoud Silanyo Receives united nations high level delegation led by Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Mr. Michael Keating.
The President was accompanied by the Vice president Abdirahman Abdilahi ismail ,Ministers of ,Presidency Mr.Mohamoud Hashi Abdi ,Foreign Affairs and Intrnational Relations DR.Saad Ali Shire  ,National planning Mr.Mohamed ibrahim adem ,information minister Mr.Osman abdilahi sahardid ,Deputy minister of presidency Mr.Ahmed Hashi abdi  and secretery of the president Mr.Ali Ahmed Ali.
The bilateral meeting discussed drought, upcoming elections, investment in jobs & infrastructure, & UN role in Somaliland.
After the Meeting the Somaliland Minister of foreign affairs Dr. Saad Ali Shire And Special Representative of the Secretary General Mr.Michael Keating Speaks to the Media.
Somaliland Foreign ministry says “Today’s Somaliland President Meets with  Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Mr. Michael Keating , his Visit  to responds  the droughts hit in Somaliland , yesterday they visit to the camps that in people affect the droughts also discussed with the president how to bolster cooperation between Somaliland and the UN ,development and Upcoming elections”Says Minister Saad
Meanwhile Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Mr. Michael Keating speaks to the media Says “Its Great Pleasure for me to be back Somaliland in Hargeisa, although that pleasure is compromise the fact the people of Somaliland suffering a trouble drought so its main reasons came here is to met with Authorities ,civil society , UN colleugues on the drought responds and how we every thing possible to ensure the needs of people of somaliland have been met giving limited resources in money I’m very happy ,We’ve also receives he need prepare for recovering from drought.”
United nation Special Representative Mr.Machael Keating  also Added
“We Talk About Political Agendas Facing in Somaliland , Including The Elections Coming Up In this year ,and way the UN Family Can Continue The Support ,The People and Government of Somaliland To Address The Many Challenges that We Face in Common” Said Ambasidor Machael Keating .
