Somaliland President receives EU New Ambassador Nicolás Berlanga

The president of Somaliland  Muse Bihi Abdi received in his office a high-level delegation led by the EU special representative to Somaliland and Somalia Amb. Nicolás Berlanga Martinez.
During the high-level talks, the President and EU envoy discussed on a wide range of issues ranging from the upcoming parliament and local polls, to accelerate and consolidate the EU funded projects which are underway in Somaliland.

This the first time Amb Nicolás Berlanga is visiting Somaliland since appointed to head of the European Union.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Berlanga also met Somaliland Finance Minister Saad Ali Shire and Deputy  Minister of Planning and National Development Hussein Buni, discussed on development cooperation and government priorities.
