Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte will visit Ethiopia and Eritrean next month, according to R.it.
The Prime Minister will be in Addis Ababa in the first half of October, most probably the 11th, for a bilateral agreement with Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed.
After Ethiopia, he will travel to Eritrea where he will meet President Isaias Afewerki.
Conte’s mission wants to be a support to the peace deal signed between Ethiopia and Eritrea last July after nearly 20 years of stalemate.
Italy President Sergio Mattarella visited Addis Ababa in 2016.
