Somaliland Ministry of Justice and UK foreign office signed an agreement which will be a Case Management System for the courts, Prisons and custodial corps on Wednesdday.
This system will allow the Ministry of Justice easily to know criminal cases that courts and Prison registered.
After meeting with Head of the British Office in Hargeisa Stuart Brown and Somaliland Ministry of Justice, both sides officially announced the expansion of judicial case management system to Hargeisa Prison, Custodial Corps, and MoJ planning dept.
“Delighted that UKaid is supporting the work of SomalilandMoj to improve transparency and accountability within the Somaliland justice system.”Stuart Brown Head of the British Office in Hargeisa said on Twitter.
Axiom International and Aktis Strategy are implementing a capacity building programme in Somaliland on behalf of the UK Government. Ultimately the objective is to increase stability and security in Somaliland and the region.
