Garowe- the state of Somalia’s Northeastern region of Puntland hosts A major Investment conference, a hub to attract both local and foreign investors.
The president of Somalia’s Puntland state, Saed Abdulahi Dani, officially opened the three-day investment conference which opened on Sunday.
President Dani, in his opening statement said that the forum is to bring together international and local investors aims invest more in the region.
Puntland leader also requested the local banks to reduce the interest rates and young people to create access finance.
“security in Puntland is reliable and encouragement for private investment. Financial institutions should reduce their loan rates so that young people can access finance & invest in their creativity” Dani said.
