Breaking Former Head of Jail Ogaden arrested in Somalia and transferred to Ethiopia
Horndiplomat- Former head of notorious prison, Jail Ogaden, Hasan Ismael Ibraahim commonly known as Haasan Deere has been arrested at the border town of Goldegob (bordering Somalia), sources told the BBC.
He is transferred to Ethiopia and by now on his way to Jigjiga.
Hassan, who has been accused of torture and human right abuses is said to be among 40+ suspects who are following their cases.
Jail Ogaden is where 1000s of prisoners were tortured, and abused including rape, sleep deprivation, and beatings. Ethiopia closed the facility last year.
