Sudan: Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan Arrives in Asmara for visit

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea on Monday morning in an official one-day visit.

According to the Yemane G. Meskel Eritrea Minister of Information, The President of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Gen. Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, arrived in Asmara in mid-morning hours today for a one-day working visit.

President al-Burhan and his delegation were accorded a warm welcome by Eritrea’s President Isaias Afwerki on arrival at Asmara International Airport.

The two leaders will discuss the progress of bilateral ties that have and continue to be strengthened in these times as well as other issues of mutual importance to both countries.
