HornDiplomat Media Group is an independently owned digital news organization headquartered in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The platform was founded by Mohamed Abdi Duale (Horndiplomat) and operates with a strong commitment to public-interest journalism, transparency and editorial independence.

HornDiplomat is privately owned and managed by its founder. No political party, government, corporation or external organization holds any ownership stake or direct control over the editorial operations of HornDiplomat.

HornDiplomat is funded through a combination of:
