UAE Minister of State Arrives in Addis Ababa for 39th AU Summit

ADDIS ABABA – The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, arrived in Addis Ababa this morning to participate in the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.

Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, Sheikh Shakhboot was warmly received by Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

The high-level summit, hosted at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, brings together leaders and senior officials from across the continent to discuss key political, economic, and security priorities under Agenda 2063.

The UAE’s participation underscores the growing partnership between the United Arab Emirates and African nations, particularly in areas of economic cooperation, infrastructure development, investment, and regional stability.
