Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU to strengthen bilateral defence and military cooperation.
The MoU was signed yesterday by Ethiopia’s Defence Minister Lemma Megersa and Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, UAE’s Minister of State for Defence Affairs, on the sidelines of ongoing 16th Dubai Airshow.
Lemma on the occasion affirmed his country’s keenness to advance Ethio-Emirati defence cooperation in order to serve mutual interests.
Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, for his part said the agreement underscores the UAE’s commitment to consolidating partnerships and cooperation with its international partners, according to WAM.
