The President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo inaugurates a new Embassy building bought by the Somali Federal Government. He urged Somalis in the diaspora to contribute to buy new buildings for diplomats and a consulate.
According to Senior Journalist Harun Maruf, Somalia Finance Minister Abdirahman Duale Beileh confirms the country bought the new embassy building in Washington D.C. from Columbia government for $4.3 million. Locating at Wyoming Avenue.

Officials from Federal government, foreign diplomats and selected Somali community members living in Washington was in attendance at the opening ceremony in Washington.

the new embassy is consist of a three-storey building.
