Somaliland Police closes Horyaal TV and detains its owner

Horndiplomat-The owner of Horyaal Tv Mr Sayid has been detained by the Somaliland police forces after they closed his Television yesterday evening.

On September 6, Somaliland police entered the headquarter of Horyaal TV and ordered a shutdown.
Sources confirmed the shutdown is linked to a recent program aired by the TV on “Khat and women”. No official statement from Somaliland Government as of now.
