Horndiplomat-A delegation led by Canadian Ambassador to Ethiopia Mr. Antoine Chevrier is in Jigjiga for a day long official visit.
The delagation is received by Ethiopia’s Somali regional State president Mustafa Muhumed Omer and top regional government officials at his office in Garabcase presidential palace.
In their meeting, two parties has discussed challenges in the areas of development, regional security, as well as the ongoing efforts to ensure national and regional transition to real democracy.
The Ambassador and his delegation also discussed ways to polster Canadian government’s ongoing role and support in the areas of food security and improvement of basic service provisions.
