Somaliland Delegation Meets with Kenya’s National Assembly Majority Leader 

Horndiplomat-a large delegation from the two of Somaliland’s political parties, UCID and Kulmiye Arrives in Nairobi on Yesterday.

The majority leader of Kenya National Assembly Aden Duale invited the joint committee of the two political parties from Somaliland (UCID and Kulmiye), at the Kenya Parliament.

During the meeting, Somaliland delegation and majority leader of Kenya National Assembly discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to linking the Somaliland Parliament to the Kenya Parliament and how the two houses can strengthen best practices and Capacity building between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Junet Mohamed, the Kenya National Assembly Minority leader hosted the Somaliland political parties delegation at his office in Parliament today. The delegation discussed the historical links between two countries, the role of opposition in democratic countries as well as their views on further promoting a friendly and cooperative relationship between Kenya and Somaliland.
