Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu and his Uruguayan counterpart, Rodolfo Nin Novoa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oriental Republic of Uruguay have signed the political consultation here in Addis Ababa today (February 21).
While signing the political consultation, Dr. Workneh noted Ethiopia’s keenness to enhance its bilateral ties with Uruguay in a number of areas, including cooperation in agriculture, especially beef, and dairy farming. He said Ethiopia is interested to draw lessons from Uruguay’s successful experience in agriculture.

Mr. Rodolfo, on his part, commended Ethiopia’s recent reform agenda both in the political and economic frontiers.
