Works will be carried out to rehabilitate the remaining IDPs, Muferiat stated.
Conflict prevention works are underway in 12 selected wordeas (districts) in Gambella, SNNP and Oromia regional states in order to avoid the occurrence of violence, she added.
More than 900 individuals suspected of committing crimes have been detained, she said, calling on regional states to hand over culprits instead of trying to cover-up their crimes.
