Horndiplomat-Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Hirut Kassaw met with Mr. Serdar Çam, President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) on Wednesday (January 16), in which the two sides have agreed to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in areas of culture and tourism.
During the meeting, Dr. Hirut expressed appreciation for the support TIKA provided to Ethiopia, which she said, included the restoration of the Al-Nejashi Mosque located in Tigray Region and the old Ottoman Consulate located in the city of Harar.
The two sides underlined the need to make full use of the great potential that exists in the field of culture and tourism to further strengthen the partnership and cooperation between Ethiopia and Turkey .accrding to Ethiopia Foreign Ministry
