Irish Prime Minister Mr. Loe Varadkar will pay an official visit to Ethiopia next week, 9 January 2019.
During his visit Prime Minister Mr. Loe Varadkar is scheduled to hold discussion with President Sahlework- Zewdie and Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, on Bilateral and Multilateral Issues of the mutual interest.
Ireland is one of the European Countries that is supporting Ethiopia’s Social and Economic projects through Irish Aid and is committed for Political reforms, and also Dublin extended its unlimited support on Ethiopia’s effort to restore peace and stability in the Horn of Africa. And there are many Irish investors’s who are engaged in various sectors in Ethiopia.
Ethiopian has long standing diplomatic and People to people relations with Ireland. Ireland opened its Embassy in Addis Ababa in 1994, and Ethiopia resumed its mission in Dublin, in 2003.According to Ethiopian Foreign Ministry
