Horndiplomat- A suicide car bomb hit a security checkpoint outside the national theatre in central Mogadishu, deaths and injuries reported. Explosion has damaged nearby buildings including a media house .

At least three dead after car bomb explosion in central Mogadishu, photos from the scene of the explosion, it appears the explosion happened in an area between the national theatre, Hawo Tako, national museum and Hooyooyinka.

The Leading Somali TV presenter killed in Mogadishu bombings, Universal Tv has confirmed. Awil Dahir Salad and three other staffers died in the first car bombing near the national theatre, source.

The blast also damaged nearby buildings including a media house.

On The other hand, second explosion took place just minutes after, reportedly in the same area, the explosions killed more than 6 people and injured more.

Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) announced on that they had detained the mastermind of the explosion and also Nisa has arrest the driver of second car.
