Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates ( UAE ) have inked a bilateral labor agreement which would ensure the protection of the rights of Ethiopian nationals and help them work in the Emirates legally.
The bilateral labor agreement was signed by Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu and Nasser bin Thani Juma Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization in Abu Dhabi.
Similarly, the Government of Ethiopia has concluded the signing of bilateral labor agreements with Jordan , Qatar , Kuwait and SaudiArabia , with the view to ensuring the protection of the rights of Ethiopian nationals and thereby stemming illegal migration.according to Ethiopian foreign Ministry
