Ethiopia PM Meets Djibouti President,the need for addressing Djibouti-Eritrea relations mutually discussed

 Horndiplomat-The Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed meets with President of Djibouti, Ismaïl Omar Guelleh expressed their thanks to all those involved in the lifting of sanctions imposed on Eritrea.

They discussed areas of cooperation to both countries and in further strengthening their existing relationship. Furthermore, both parties discussed the need for addressing Djibouti-Eritrea relations mutually.

In a joint press conference, Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu and his Djiboutian Counterpart, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf said the relationship between the two countries has transformed into a new high. Dr. Workneh added that Ethiopia would continue to work to address the outstanding issues between Eritrea and Djibouti.
