–Ethiopian President Sahlework Zewde arrived in Juba to attend the South Sudanese peace celebration.
South Sudan’s conflicting parties and leaders from various countries, including President of Uganda, Sudan and Kenya are expected to attend the event that will take place at the Juba stadium.
The celebrations intend to show South Sudanese that war is over, in a way to contribute to creating a suitable atmosphere for the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement.
Former Vice President of South Sudan Riek Machar arrived in Juba to attend the celebration.
The South Sudan’s parties signed the peace deal at a regional summit in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa last September.
