The Second Turkey-Africa Economic and Business Forum kicked off in Istanbul, under the motto” Building a Sustainable Future together through Investments and Joint Ventures”.
In his remark at the Forum, President Mulatu Teshome cited the long-standing and historical relations of Africa and Turkey, with a particular focus on the increasing partnership both in bilateral and multilateral forums.
As Ethiopia and Turkey elevated their relations to strategic partnership, he underscored the relation between the two countries is getting stronger, notably in trade and investment.
President Mulatu also said the government of Ethiopia is massively moving to develop industrial parks to facilitate private sector participation, more particularly in export.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his part vowed to further strengthen the partnership with African countries in multifaceted ways, according to Office of the President.
