Ethiopia signs Host Country Agreement with Global Green Growth Institute

Horndiplomat-Ethiopia and the Global Green Growth Institute signed a Host Country Agreement (HCA) on Tuesday (September 4).

State Minister of Foreign affairs, Professor Afework Kassu noted Ethiopia’s significant efforts dedicated at building climate resilient green economy. The State Minister welcomed the Global Green Growth Institute’s decision to open its regional office in Addis Ababa.

Mr. Dexippos agourides noted that Ethiopia is a founding member of the Global Green Growth Institute. He also noted that Ethiopia has done well in the process of building green economy, adding that this was the reason why Ethiopia was chosen by the Global Green Growth Institute.

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international organization headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
