Kenya’s election re-run marred by unrest and protests

Clashes between opposition supporters and police have disrupted Kenya’s presidential election rerun amid reports of voter fraud. At least two people were killed and several others injured after police in the opposition stronghold of Kisumu fired live rounds and tear gas to break up protests against the vote. Opposition leader Raila Odinga, who withdrew from the race after claiming August’s election was rigged, has asked his supporters to boycott the vote. Al Jazeera’s Fahmida Miller reports.
