President’s Message of Congratulation
On his behalf, the government and the people of Somaliland the president of Somaliland Mr.Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo sends congratulatory and complimentary message to the New Prime Minister of Britain Mrs. Theresa May who took over the leadership position in that country today Wednesday 13.07.2016.
The president’s message said, “On my behalf, the government, and the people of the Republic of Somaliland whether at home or in Diaspora, I submit you a congratulatory and complimentary message to your new appointment as the Prime Minister of your country. I, wholeheartedly, hope you will find easier and fully bring success from this heavy position.
Somaliland and the United Kingdom share deep and historical relationship, repeating itself for centuries, which is based on mutual trust, mutual respect and multi cooperation and collaboration. That relation is heightened by your Predecessor Mr. David Cameron, who received us at Downing Street April 18/2013. I hope you will continue the relationship between the two countries from there that can add a lot to our cooperation, in particular, politics, economy, social development and the security.
