Citing corruption, lies and false promises, the military is now taking over and has declared a three-month state of emergency following longstanding protests.

Tens of thousands of people are out in the streets of the Sudanese capital Khartoum to celebrate the end of the 30-year-rule of Omar al-Bashir after he was deposed by the country’s military.
