Irish Prime Minister H.E. Leo Varadkaris arrived in Addis Ababa today (January 09). Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, the Prime Minister was received by State Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Markos Tekle.

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, the Prime Minister was received by State Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Markos Tekle.

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkaris will be officially received by Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed later today for talks on bilateral and regional issues of mutual concern. He will also pay a courtesy call on President Sahle-Work Zewde.

Ireland is one of the key committed development partners of Ethiopia. Many Irish investors and companies are engaged in various investment sectors in Ethiopia.

Ethiopia and Ireland have a very strong and excellent relationship cemented on a longstanding diplomatic and people-to-people ties.
