RwandAir to Commence Direct Flights to Addis

Horndiplomat-RwandAir, the national carrier has announced that it will commence direct flights to Addis Ababa, in April next year. (December 27).

The airline’s decision to operate flights between Kigali and Addis Ababa comes following already operational flights by Ethiopian Airlines, which is the top established airline in the region & in Africa. With flights to Addis Ababa, the hub of the African Union, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and other regional offices for a number of international organizations, RwandAir anticipates to offer seamless connections through its hub in Kigali between Addis and other African cities in its network.

Ethio-Rwanda cooperation remains strong and significant results have been achieved in the areas of aviation, defense, and capacity building among others, which continues to benefit the people of both countries.

Rwanda opened its first embassy in Ethiopia in 1978.
