State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Markos Tekle, received Cherdkist Attehakor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand accredited to Ethiopia at his offices today (December 26).
On the occasion, Dr. Markos praised the historical relationship between the two countries and the exemplary economic transformations that Thailand exhibited over the years. He added that Ethiopia is keen to draw lessons from Thailand`s developmental model and experiences in many sectors, especially, in the area of tourism, hospitality, medicine and agriculture.
Dr. Markos further expressed his appreciation to the Thai leadership for its interest to strengthen relations with Ethiopia, adding that the ties between the two countries is ushering in a new era of cooperation.
Ambassador Cherdkist Attehakor expressed his government’s readiness to invest in Ethiopia.
