The Vice Minister of the Somaliland Ministry of Finance Development, Abdulkadir Mohamoud Sheikh, Monday, awarded Gulf Marill Services Ltd (GAMS) and Hargeisa Automotive Company Limited (HAC) a Tax Identification Certification each.
The Ministry of Finance recognized the twin companies for their role as model taxpayers.
At a ceremony held for a selected pick of companies that have shown model cooperation with the Somaliland Ministry of Finance, the Vice Minister lauded GAMS and HAC for establishing such an exemplary bond with the Ministry’s departments, and especially with Customs and Internal Revenue.
Preceding the Vice Minister to introduce GAMS and HAC, the directors of Customs and Internal Revenue outlined how the two companies fully cooperated with the Ministry, and how they have shown a spirit of understanding and collaboration that was rare among privately owned companies.
GAMS General Manager, Aisha Hassan, received the Award given it on behalf of GAMS, where Mukhtar Ahmed Muhumad, HAC Administration and Finance officer, represented HAC.
