Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed today had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen, the Speakers of the two Houses and Chief Administrators of Amhara and Tigray regional states over the current situation in Raya and its surroundings.
The meeting concluded that any issue related to identity needs to be handled peacefully and in accordance with the Constitution, according to Fitsum Arega, Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The media is also urged to work responsively to ensure regional harmony and peace, he said on Twitter. According to FanaBc
