Somaliland: New Generation University Graduates over 513 Students

Horndiplomat-many political figures and senior government officials attend a graduation ceremony held for more than 513 students the 6th batch to have graduated from the various faculties which make up New generation University.

Inspirational Speeches were made to encourage the Graduates to put what they have learnt into action and help Somaliland propel into development. The chancellor of the New Generation University, elaborated on the different metamorphosis the varsity had to undergo to reach the level it is today. He went on to reveal that many graduates the university has baked have benefited from the knowledge instilled and are today reaping the rewards of that endeavors.

The President of New generation University, Prof.Abdiwasa Mohamed Yusuf(Allamagan)  in his speech said: “Our students are everyday people, many with jobs, families, and other outside responsibilities, who are dedicated to improving themselves academically, socially, culturally and professionally.”President of New generation Abdiwasa Mohamed Yusuf

Somaliland’s Foreign Minister Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, who spoke on the occasion expressed gratitude to the graduates said: “This event is a celebration and thanksgiving,  and first I congratulated the youth who have completed their education today. I congratulate the University of New Generation, I congratulated to the Nation of Somaliland and the young people who have been honored here in Somaliland, have grown up in Somaliland, their education started and finished in Somaliland .”Said Somaliland foreign minister Dr. Saad Ali Shire

The Minister of Constitutional Affairs Mohamed Haji Adan, who spoke at the event praised the Students graduated from the University, thanking the Executive and Managing Directors of New Generation University, who noted that they played an important role in ensuring that these students receive Quality education and also emphasized that the university was well-groomed by these Graduated Students, and provided quality education.

The Chairman of the UCID Party Eng. Faisal Ali Warabe, Chairman of the Supreme Court Adam Haji Ali, Minister of Sports Boss Mise Mohamed, Minister of Justice Abdiqani Mohamoud Atteye, who also spoke on the occasion, congratulated the students graduated from NGenerationion University.

Finally, The Chairman of the Supreme Court Adam Haji Ali Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Justice and other politicians handed out awards to top students for their diligence.

The graduates who are the 6th batch to graduate from the institution since its inception back in 2010.
