Horndiplomat-Somaliland Ministry of Education announced the results of the Final Exam for the intermediate and secondary schools in a press conference held in Hargeisa yesterday.
28,187, Candidates are sitting for Intermediate and Secondary final exams across the country on July 2, this year.
The chairperson of the national examination board Mr Daud Ahmed Farah has stated that 28,187, students sat for the national exams when it comes to intermediate and high school.
“The number of students from intermediate schools increases from 15029 to 18256 students in comparison to this year, while the high schools the figure rose from 9911 students to 9931.”
The chairman of the national examination board also announced the students failed the exam and their counterpart.
“8358 Passed for the exam from Secondary schools, while 1117 failed, The intermediate schools 16604 students passed for the exam while 1998 has failed in the 2017-2018 National Examination.”Said Daud Ahmed Farah
