Horndiplomat-Eritrea’s President Isaias Afeworki has just arrived in Addis Ababa for a three day state visit at the invitation of PrDr Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed.
Upon arrival at the Bole International Airport, President Isaias was welcomed by Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed, Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, Presidents of regional states, and other high-level government officials as well as members of the Ethiopian Public Diplomacy Team. Moreover, hundreds and thousands of residents of Addis Ababa filled the street to welcome President Isaias.
During his visit, President Isaias is expected to hold talks with Premier Abiy at the National Palace, attend a musical concert at the Millenium Hall as well as visit the Hawasa Industrial Park.
President Isaias’ visit to Addis will surely open a new chapter of relations between the two countries.
