Horndiplomat-Somaliland president Muse Bihi Abdi receives United States  Ambassador to Somalia Amb. Martin Dale at Presidential Palace.

The meeting discussed issues related to democracy, security economics and Aid as well as the strengthened relationship between Somaliland and United States of America.

The President accompanied by the meeting, Vice President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail (Saylici) and Somaliland Foreign Minister, Dr Sacad Ali Shire.

Somaliland declared its independence nearly three decades ago from Somalia, but despite having its own currency, parliament, military and legal system The territory has been experiencing stability and economic prosperity and has been influential in the fight against piracy and terrorism in the Horn of Africa.
