Somaliland's Electoral Commission and political parties sign landmark Framework Agreement on conduct of Nov 2017 presidential election
Horndiplomat{Hargeisa} The Somaliland’s Electoral Commission and political parties sign landmark Framework Agreement on conduct of Nov 2017 presidential election.Horndiplomat reports.
The meeting organized by the Academy for Peace and Development in Somaliland ,both sides welcomed the landmark framework of upcoming presidential election in Somaliland .
The director of Academy of peace and Development Mr.Mohamed Farah Hersi said the meeting is that the three political parties {Kulmiye,Wadani,Ucid} and electoral commission signs the Act of Card Distribution.
On the other hand  the Somaliland’s political parties has also welcomes this deal with the electoral commission that framework on upcoming presidential election and also They insisted that they worked with the Electoral commission.

The Somaliland’s National electoral commission announced last month the total Results of Vote registration Process Commenced last year in Somaliland. The National electoral commission Officially Announces the Total number of the vote Registration Process  and The Date that Distributes the Vote Cards .
Somaliland’s General elections were scheduled to be held in Somaliland on 27 March 2017 to elect the President and House of Representatives, but were postponed by six months due to the drought condition in the region. Incumbent President Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo will not be running for a second term.
