Somaliland Delegation Arrives in Egypt

Horndiplomat-Somaliland Delegation delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation of the Republic of Somaliland Dr. Saad Ali Shire who traveled from the Capital, Hargeisa, has today reached at Cairo City.According Somaliland Foreign Ministry Press Statement .Horndiplomat Reports.

The Minister heads this delegation to Egypt after upon receiving an official invitation from his counterpart minister of Egypt. Senior officials of the Egyptian MOFA warmly received the Minister delegation at the Cairo International Airport.
During their stay at Cairo, the Minister delegation will have important meetings with different distinguished ministers and officials of the Egyptian government and the Arab League including Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Mr. Samih Shukri, Minister of Trade & Industry, Minister of Health, Minister of Education, Ministers Higher Education, Sheikh Al-Azhar as well as senior officials of the Arab League of States based in Cairo.
The Somaliland MOFA Minister delegation to Egypt aims to strengthen cooperation and the relations between the two countries, Somaliland and Egypt.
The Minister is accompanied with in his delegation Ambassador of Somaliland to Yemen, Mr. Ali Mohamed, Director of the Political Department of MOFA, Mr. Abdiqani Ahmed Hassan and Head of the Middle East & Asia.Mr. Fahmi Mohamed Qasim.

in Mid this year The Somaliland Government welcomed a large delegation from Egypt led by Ambassador Mohamed Idris and Ambassador Walid Mohamed Ismail which included senior political, economic and security officials.

The  Egyptian delegation Visit in Somaliland  comes in the wake of a recent visit by a Somaliland delegation to Egypt in march this year.
The two sides engaged in a fruitful discussion which covered a broad range of topics of mutual interest and focused in particular on improving bilateral cooperation.
