Jeff has a new love song
His talent and charisma saw him emerge winner of the competition
On the Project Fame West Africa music reality TV show in 2015, Nigerian singer, Jeff Akoh, wowed audiences week after week with smooth renditions of well-known songs. His talent and charisma saw him emerge winner of the competition. Now, Jeff, as he is popularly known, has released his own song titled Never Let You Go, a love song.
The song, which was produced by Oscar Heman Ackah, tells the story of a young man’s reluctance to be separated from the girl he loves. The video for the track was directed by popular Nigerian music video director, Moe Musa, in Lagos. The song is taken off his forthcoming EP for which he is working with renowned producers in the country including Cobhams Asuquo.

The reigning champion of Project Fame West Africa
Jeff Akoh was born on 27 October 1996 in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. He attended Shining Star Nursery and Primary School, Abuja and Federal Government Boys College also in Abuja. He then went on to study Sound Engineering at the SAE Institute, Cape Town, South Africa.
His fate with stardom was sealed after winning the eight season of the Project Fame West Africa show
Jeff had a shot at fame at 13 when he competed alongside his brother in the 2010 Glo Naija Sings competition. The duo emerged runner up in the competition. His fate with stardom was sealed after winning the eight season of the Project Fame West Africa show in 2015 at the age of 18, making him the youngest winner in the show’s history. His win secured him a management deal with 960 Music Group and Ultima Productions.
Jeff has collaborated with Yemi Alade on the remix of her hit track,Kissing. On his single, Dip It, he featured the Kukere singer, Iyanya. Listen to his latest single, Never Let You Go,
